Every now and then you should take a step back and reframe your passion. Every day we encounter changes to our mindset. Why? Our motivations change. We need to be motivated on a daily basis to achieve our daily goals, this is why motivational speeches work. They work because it gives us a burst of energy that we did not have before we entered that room. The feeling is similar to what happens when you attend church. You feel a sense of fulfillment, a sense of why you are who you are, more importantly, who you want to be. I take this approach with my passion of wanting to shape the youth of this world into great leaders of the future. Every month I take a step back and re-evaluate what my purpose is. Why re-evaluate? Because the world is forever changing and you do not want to be left behind working on something outdated. Current events happen every day that can affect what you are working towards.
I call this polishing my purpose. Breath some fresh air into your purpose and you will have a refined attitude towards what you want to accomplish. What is it that you want to do? What do you need to polish? Focus on one aspect of your business or job skills at first. Try this and you will be better for it. As always, comment, like and let me know your thoughts on this. I would love to hear some new ideas in regards to my methods.
