Friday Spotlight: A Quote By Trevor Noah

Often, people who can do, don’t because they’re afraid of what people who can’t do will say about them doing.

Trevor Noah

Trevor Noah is one of my favorite people to hear speak or read what he writes. Raw and uncut knowledge is what you get from Mr. Noah.

The story of most people’s lives is right here inside of this quote. Most people who can do won’t do because they care about what others think about them too much. I want to make this very clear, nobody is coming to save you. Nobody is going to hand you your dreams on a silver platter and say “here you go, be great.” Greatness is earned not given.

What are you going to do to stop caring? Consume yourself with yourself. This is not meant for you to be selfish. There is a difference between being happy and being selfish. Define U! You cannot be the best version of yourself worrying about what other people think about your actions and decisions. You can’t please everyone and the only one that matters at the end of the day is you!  Every time you hesitate on a decision count down five seconds and GO! Thank you, Mel Robbins for your incredible book “The 5 Second Rule” This book will help you not care about what others think of you. It will also let you find yourself and really know what you’re about. Go get em! Be blessed! Be Inspired!
