I read in a book that “people who want to change, change fast. People who do not change, don’t want to change.” You have to want to do something in order for it to really work. You can do things all day that you don’t want to do and continue living life in a false reality of hope or you can choose to be ready to change your life for the better. Most people live in the false reality of “change” until they can’t handle the insanity anymore.
When will you end your insanity?
What I mean by this is every day most people do the same thing and expect different results. As we have learned is that is the definition of insanity. You have to find something inside of you that makes you want to change. You have to get your mind right before you make the decision. This is why we read books, listen to motivational speakers, talk to mentors. These things help us get our mind in a solid place so we can see the change in our lives instead of just talking about it. Are you ready for a change? Be Blessed! Be Inspired!
I woke up this morning in a beautiful mood. The weather is perfect here in Southern California and I’m blessed beyond belief. This weekend I have it on my heart to focus only on blessings. We often forget the great things happening in our lives bwcause we tend to focus only on what we need to fix. This weekend don’t fix anything, work on building your strengths and watch your energy grow. Be Blessed! Be Inspired!
Talent is cheaper than table salt. What separates the talented individual from the successful one is a lot of hard work.
It’s only right that I speak on a quote by Stephen King on Friday the 13th. This is turning into my favorite quote. We all have a talent, every one of us was born with the unique ability to shine bright at something. What separates us is the work ethic. Do you have what it takes to be successful? I can’t answer that question for you but I’m willing to bet you said “yes” inside your head. If you did not then I’m willing to bet that you wanted to say yes. Get up, get dressed, show up and show out. All things begin to change with the decision to start something. We get the fire lit for just a second and that’s when things chsnge or stay the same. What I mean by that is you get a chance to keep the fire going by adding to it or you let it burn out. Unfortunately, most people let the fire burn out because of fear. The fear is in the work ethic of going to get things to keep the fire going. In this case it would be the knowledge you get from reading, the muscle memory you get from affirmations etc. I promised myself that I wouldn’t let anyone out work me from this day forth. I’ll open the door for you to do the same. Will you walk through? Be Blessed! Be Inspired!
It’s a trap! Bad days are traps for the motivated. I say this because it’s easy to become complacent when you’re stuck in the negative space. How do you get out of that negative space? It’s not as hard as you think. Simply do the things that make you happy. Every day do something that makes you happy nut don’t just stop there. Surround yourself with positivity. It’s very hard to stay in a negative space when you are on a positive environment. If you aren’t in a positive environment, create your own positivity. Too often we hang on to people and things for far too long. It’s important to stay in that positive space. Without it, you start to pile up bad thoughts that lead to bad days and ultimately depression. Don’t let yourself get there. You deserve better. Be Blessed! Be Inspired!
I’ll keep it 100 with you all. Sometimes I just don’t feel it. I don’t feel inspired all the time to write a blog or make a video or read that chapter. That’s part of being a human being, right? Of course it is but many people think that something is wrong with them and fall deeper into a depressive mindset. There is nothing in the world that kills dreams faster than depressive mindsets. When you let the negative energy weigh you down over and over again it will No doubt lead to disaster within your daily, weekly and monthly goals. In turn making your year just fly by without you accomplishing anything. The best you can hope for on that situation is you learning the lessons and moving forward.
What is your inspiration?
What I am asking you is simple. It can be put into one word. Why? That’s it. Why? Why do you get out of bed every day? What is your purpose? These are questions that you should ask yourself every morning. I started looking in the mirror and telling myself “you’re great!” Being in sales has taught me so much. If you don’t believe in the product then the person you’re selling it to won’t believe in it. I’m this case your product is You! Every day you’re selling yourself but you need to believe in yourself and your abilities for everyone else to buy in to you. Try doing 10 positive things every day. Every day help someone other than you directly. What this will do is get you in a positive mindset and build momentum daily. You deserve it. Better yet the world needs it. There is way too much negativity going on constantly, we don’t need more negative. We need positive mindsets and energy. Be the light. You got this! Be Blessed! Be Inspired!
Remember when you were a kid and you had big dreams? What happened? I used to always think about that until I kept hearing from old heads around my block that it’s not how old you are, it’s about how young you feel. Well, why can’t it be how young your ambitions are. I stay in the big kid dream stage. It helps me never put a cap on my goals and potential. I know most of you are like me. We call into a routine of “I make good money” instead of I love what I do. Get back to loving what you do, just like you did on a summer night as a kid. Keep your heart in what you want to accomplish and don’t let the sky be your limit. Be Blessed! Be Inspired!
